Caregiver Champions

At the core of the Caregiver Champions program are the Caregiver Champions themselves, experienced family and informal caregivers who serve as resources of information and support within their communities. These Champions have already overcome the challenges of caring for a loved one and possess a deep desire to share what they’ve learned with others. They host the Caregiver Learning Circles and help attendees learn to navigate systems, advocate for loved ones and access resources.

• Ability to make others feel comfortable discussing sensitive issues

• Identify and recruit participants for Caregiver Learning Circles
• Host Caregiver Learning Circles
• Serve as a resource among friends and neighbors
