The Learning Circles provide an avenue for participants to realize that they are not alone and that many of their friends and community members have similar experiences. Another important aspect of the Learning Circles is recognition of the abundance of support readily available to their communities
Ginny provided live in care for both of her parents for about 10 years. Her dad passed away and Ginny took over the household responsibilities for she and her mother. With Ginny’s help, support and encouragement, her mother has successfully transitioned to a retirement community where she is able to live a rich and independent life.
