Caregiving can be a very isolating experience. The Learning Circles give caregivers a unique opportunity to network with others, share experiences and hear from people with different perspectives. My hope is that each participant learns a trick or two to better manage burnout and stress.
Penny’s first caregiving experience was with her father. She was his primary caregiver and took care of him throughout his illness. Penny’s father passed away. She and her husband are now caring for her mother-in-law, who has end-stage Alzheimer’s disease.
